One of a delightful series aimed to develop the vocabulary of pupils in the early years.
The Word World series received a Gold award and was the Overall Winner in the Multimedia category of the Practical Pre-School Awards 2008.
A balanced blend of fun and learning, there are six interactive activities introducing different animals on the farm, on safari and in the pet shop.
The six different activity on the disc are:
- drawing a picture,
- following a pattern,
- counting,
- differentiating between objects,
- colouring in, and
- finding the odd one out.
The disc can be used to introduce Welsh and English vocabulary to second language pupils.
The Word World series was developed in conjunction with Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin
(the leading Welsh early years specialists).

"An engaging program that we found simple and easy to use. The children were quickly able to use it without adult help, following the clear verbal instructions on the discs. The difficulty options allowed adults to monitor each individual child's progress on the different areas of the program, which is very useful. It was perfect for the age range and the children really enjoyed using it, as well as it being very beneficial to them! It covers all areas of development and is ideal to help improve many skills in young children."
